Race Gurram is an upcoming Telugu family drama film directed by Surender Reddy starring Allu Arjun, Shruti Haasan, Saloni Aswani and Shaam. Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) and Dr. Venkateswara Rao are producing this film under Lakshmi Narasimha production and S. Thaman provided the music. The cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa. Vakkantham Vamsi penned the script while Goutham Raju handled the editing department. The film is also the first Telugu movie to feature Auro 11.1 Audio file format, the next-generation three-layer sound technology from Auro Technologies, powered by Barco Sounds. The Principal photography started on May 13, 2013 in Hyderabad. The film's talkie part completed on December 24, 2013, Allu Arjun Race Gurram Movie 2014 Release date is August 24, 2014.
Surender Reddy is directing this film which is produced by Nallamalupu Bujji. This would be the first film for Allu Arjun with Surender Reddy and S. Thaman. Initially Samantha was approached for female lead in it, but later Shruti Haasan was selected as the Heroine, which was confirmed by the actress in her twitter. This film is said to be a complete youthful action romantic entertainer. Vijay would provide the fights and thrills in the film. Surender Reddy roped in Shaam after he worked with him in Kick and Oosaravelli. Saloni Aswani is going to be seen in the film as the second heroine. Bhojpuri Superstar Ravi Kishan was roped in as the antagonist thus marking this film his Telugu Debut.
